Dental Care Alliance is well known and well regarded for the many ways we support our affiliated dentists. Now, we are showing that support at the legislative level though our proud participation in the Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO), formerly known as the Dental Group Practice Association (DGPA). We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mitch Olan, DCA’s co-chief executive officer & chief operating officer, as secretary of ADSO, and Mike Bileca, president of DCA’s Florida operations & Main Street Dental, as legislative director of ADSO. While the organization’s name has changed, its mission remains the same: to provide superior support services that enable and empower dental professionals to deliver innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective dental care to patients. Our leadership role in ADSO will greatly benefit DCA members, as well as the thousands of dental professionals in more than 30 dental support organizations who have relied on this community as a continued source of support.
ADSO is committed to advancing dental support organizations by communicating the many benefits they bring to both dentists and practices. Dental support organizations provide access to the resources that allow dentists to improve the efficiency of their practices. This allows dentists to accept more insurance plans and provide more people with dental care. It also saves them the time and trouble of non-clinical matters so they can spend more time where it really matters, which is chair-side, treating patients.
By taking a leadership role in the legislative activity of the ADSO, we can ensure that this community carries on its tradition of representing dental support organizations and continues its commitment to supporting the success of participating dentists.
