The Golden Gracey Award recognizes hygienists who exemplify Dental Care Alliance’s core values, consistently provide superior service to patients, and are a role model for other team members.
SARASOTA, FL (October 15, 2017) – Dental Care Alliance is proud to announce Margaret “Magi” Richard, a Registered Dental Hygienist at Lighthouse Dental Care in Stratford, CT, is the winner of this year’s DCA Hu-Friedy Golden Gracey Award. The honor recognizes the top hygienist in the company who exemplifies the qualities of teamwork, respect, integrity, excellence, reliability, and social responsibility. Ms. Richard consistently excels in providing patient care, which results in a full schedule, excellent patient reviews, and a steady stream of referrals.
Ms. Richard was chosen from a strong field of more than 265 candidates. Her colleagues at Lighthouse Dental Care said she has been a dedicated, loyal, and invaluable team member for 30 years.
“Magi has an amazing, unfaltering work ethic. She consistently gives 110% and will always look for ways to help the office and team,” said Eileen Geier, the office manager at Lighthouse Dental Care. “She has a great rapport with patients, as can be seen by the number of great reviews she receives. She also has a unique rapport with children and has success treating even challenging patients.”
Ms. Richard received a 24-carat gold-plated Gracey curette that signifies Hu-Friedy’s and DCA’s vision for dental excellence. In addition, she received a 3-day trip to Chicago, Illinois for herself and a friend. The travel package included two round-trip air fares, hotel accommodations for two nights, a tour of Hu-Friedy’s headquarters, and a $500 gift card for meals and entertainment.
