As a company, Dental Care Alliance has always supported giving back to the communities we serve. In the past we’ve supported the community in variety of ways including local event sponsorships, volunteering, and local donations of dental treatment, dollars and supplies. This year we wanted to find a worthy cause we could proudly and collectively support to spread goodwill and make a difference. We are excited to announce our 2016 partnership with Make-A-Wish® to help fulfill the wishes of children battling life-threatening medical conditions. Together we hope to raise more than $100,000 before the end of 2016 to help make these deserving kids’ wishes come true!
Make-A-Wish is a non-profit organization that grants an average of one wish every 37 minutes, and 79% of all funds raised go directly to funding wishes for children. Together, we can make a difference by giving children once-in-a-lifetime experiences and the opportunity to spend precious, quality time with their families.
We kicked off this charitable initiative at the Dental Care Alliance Annual Meeting in Las Vegas last week and have already raised $10,000 through generous donations from our attending doctors, regional teams, vendors and corporate team members! Dental Care Alliance has also committed to donating $1 for every new DentRite membership sold between April 1-December 31, 2016, and we have other fun fundraising events planned for later in the year. We will share information about local events and volunteer opportunities throughout the year as well.
We are challenging each of our affiliated offices to raise at least $500 in support of Make-A-Wish, and we are encouraging office team and patient support in order to reach our goal as well. If every office meets their goal, we will exceed $100,000 and will have helped grant as many as 13 wishes this year (average cost per wish is approximately $7,500)!
